Our School Houses
Each pupil of our school belongs to a school house; this forms part of their identity during their KS2 journey and enables them to celebrate individual talents across all areas of school. Representing their house also gives them further opportunities to implement our core values and work together as a team.
After several discussions and votes with pupils, it was decided that our four school houses would be formed under the names of animals, currently classified as endangered species. The pupils felt that raising the profile of these endangered animals was a priority.
Pupils have the opportunity to take part in a range of competitions and activities (academic, sporting and other) across the school year to earn points for their school house. Each epraise point they earn for themselves is also added to their school house total. At the end of the academic year, the house with the most points is crowned 'House Champions' and awarded the school trophy!
The '2022-2023 House Champions' were... GALAPAGOS PENGUINS!
